The Process Behind ECU Remapping
STEP 1 - INSPECT THE VEHICLE
We'll do a full inspection of the vehicle to make sure it's in good working order and suitable for remapping.​​
STEP 2 - READ THE ECU FILE
We will retrieve the original file off the ECU either through the OBD or remove the ECU from the vehicle to directly plug into it which is know as benching the ECU.
STEP 3 - SEND TO ELITE REMAPS
After we have retrieved the original file from the ECU we will then send it to our file writer at Elite Remaps who works his magic on your ECU file.
STEP 4 - UPLOAD THE NEW FILE ON ECU
After we receive our update file customised for your specific vehicle we then upload the new file on to the ECU which will change all relevant data.
